Youth in Action: Building Awareness and Confidence

Sarva Seva Sangh organized a three day Life Skill Camp for 61 children, focusing on the timely and important theme “Behavioural Change among Adolescents and Digital Literacy.” The camp aimed to help young participants understand themselves better, make responsible choices, and stay safe in an increasingly digital world.

An insightful session by Mr. Pritesh Kamble from CYDA guided the children through the physical, emotional, and psychological changes they experience during adolescence. A communication-based game helped create a comfortable environment, encouraging children to share openly and participate with confidence.

The camp also featured a highly practical Digital Literacy workshop conducted by Light House representatives. Children learned about online safety, the risks of gaming apps, and useful digital tools such as tracing a lost mobile phone, checking Aadhaar PAN linkage, and verifying bank account seeding. This session proved eye opening and extremely relevant for today’s digital generation.

Sessions facilitated by SSS staff focused on peer pressure, emotional changes, and the influence of family and society on young people. Through creative methods including games, videos, and role plays, the children were able to understand these concepts in a fun and meaningful way.

The camp concluded with a shared lunch, and the children returned home happy, confident, and enriched with essential life skills. The initiative once again highlighted Sarva Seva Sangh’s commitment to nurturing responsible, informed, and empowered young individuals.
